Our purpose
We created TERA because we believe that excellence and performance in wealth management is essential to provide freedom, balance, and perpetuity to our clients' legacy. Our biggest mission is to be the reference Multi-Family Office in active wealth management.
TERA was founded in 2015 as a Single-Family Office focused on managing the wealth of the Pátria founding partners. In 2017, we opened our doors to welcome new families, with the aim of providing them with unique investment opportunities in the global capital market.
Market Monthly Letter
January saw significant developments in the global economy. Key events included the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States, the rise of DeepSeek—an artificial intelligence tool developed in China that delivered strong results using less advanced chips than those found in Silicon Valley—and the U.S. Federal Reserve meeting, which paused its interest rate cuts. On the geopolitical front, a ceasefire was reached between Israel and Gaza.
